If there is a need, CCC is prepared to fill it and that's where our projects are born. Our biggest and most recognized projects are the annual Holiday Shopping Boutique we create at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and Dec My Dorm for college-bound youth coming out of the foster system.
At UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital we set up a holiday boutique filled with over 300 gifts. Our young shoppers are the patients themselves, “shopping” for gifts for their caregivers (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, foster parents and others). In addition, each patient is gifted with a cozy Sherpa blanket to wrap themselves in warmth and love, a giant stuffed animal to cuddle and a holiday snow globe.
Dec My Dorm provides 100+ foster youth who have earned their place in college with the essentials needed to set up their college dorm room. We celebrate these resilient, hard working youth at an event with balloons, DJ, photo booth, food, fun and more.
Some of our additional projects have included: "Goodies To Go," snacks for your belly, love for your soul. We provided thousands of snacks per month for the Ronald McDonald House of Los Angeles where families with hospitalized children reside. Hand painting over 3,000 rocks to create a beautiful "Love Rocks" rock garden at West Hills Hospital, collecting thousands of diapers for homeless mothers and babies, creating annual Mother's Day celebrations for the mothers of children fighting life threatening illnesses and serving countless meals at homeless shelters
During the height of Covid in 2020, our "Goodies To Go" pivoted, supporting the hardworking healthcare heroes at 12 local hospitals by supplying them weekly with thousands of snacks and hundreds of meals.
