At UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital we set up a holiday boutique filled with nearly 1,000 gifts. Our young shoppers are the patients themselves, “shopping” for gifts for their caregivers (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, foster parents and others). In addition, each patient is gifted with a cozy Sherpa blanket to wrap themselves in warmth and love, a giant stuffed animal to cuddle and a holiday snow globe.
Every Christmas, Connecting A Caring Community brings holiday cheer to the pediatric patients and their families at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.
